Players can create their very own soccer star and interact in the game by completing 50 different level challenges which award the player different Badges from Rookie to International Player status. Players can also socialize, interact, go shopping, custom design their own pad, personalize their own character and play a variety of single player and multi player games. Playing games earns you soccer dollars which enables you to go shopping for many different things.

You may find that older computers with less memory do not handle the graphics within Planet Soccer Live particularly well. If you find things running very slowly, try changing the "Quality" setting within Planet Soccer Live to "Low". To do this, log into a room and then click on the arrow next to the "Quality" setting top left until the setting reads "Low". This will probably speed things up considerably.

Soccer Dollars are the currency of Planet Soccer. You earn money when you do well on the various games within Planet Soccer. Players can spend their Soccer Dollars to get additional clothes, boots, footballs, haircuts, facial hair, furniture, chat and emoticon packs and other accessories. Bonus Soccer Dollars can be obtained by players finding the golden ball which appears randomly throughout the planet on a day to day basis.

Blue arrows that point and move up and down indicate where a game can be played. When you move your mouse pointer over or below the arrow a text box will appear with the name of the game. Just click on the text box and you will be redirected to play the game. Instructions will be provided at the beginning of each game.

When you purchase products from the Corner Shop they will automatically be made available for you in your ?pad? and can be used at anytime. You can choose to wear some items of clothing as soon as you've bought them. All you need to do to view all the items you own is to go to your "pad" and there are options to personalize your character or customize your pad. Please remember that haircuts are not stored once they are purchased. If you want to get another hair style you'll have to go back to the hairdresser and purchase another one, just like in real life!

Buddies can simply be added clicking on a player and choosing "Add Buddy" from their profile page. In your buddy list you can see which friends are online and where they are hanging out.

Marley is the official Planet Soccer Live mascot who is a huge soccer fan. He can be seen throughout Planet Soccer and is full of important facts about Planet Soccer, the sport in general and himself!

The golden ball is a very special thing in Planet Soccer. You'll see it only very occasionally, but when you do you must click on it immediately. If you do this before it disappears you'll earn yourself an enormous bonus of Soccer Dollars.

Each player has four different stats - wealth, IQ, skill and health. These can increase or decrease depending on a number of things.

Wealth: A player's wealth can increase by playing the single and multiplayer games. Players are awarded a certain amount of Soccer Dollars each time they play. Wealth will decrease when a player spends money in the Corner Shop.

IQ: A player's IQ (intelligence) can increase by correctly answering questions in the quiz game which is located in The Library.

Skill: A player's level of skill can increase by taking part in the various soccer related games like Keepie Uppie and Penalty Shootout. A low skill score will make it harder for a player to do well in these games.

Health: Health can increase by playing the "Healthy Eating" game in the restaurant.

IMPORTANT: All these stats (apart from wealth) decrease if you don't log in to Planet Soccer regularly.

Trophies are won if you achieve a certain score when playing the various single and multiplayer games. Single player games have 3 types of trophy (gold, silver and bronze) and multiplayer games have 2 types (gold and silver). Your aim is to gain a gold trophy for every game within Planet Soccer Live.

The 3 players with the highest combined stats (health, IQ and skill) have statues (gold for 1st, silver for 2nd, bronze for 3rd) in the Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame also contains the "Fairweather Rich List" (see below).

Players that have earnt the most soccer dollars will appear in the prestigious "Fairweather Rich List", which is viewable in the Hall of Fame.

The 50 level badge system works by completing the 10 tasks assigned to each Badge. Each badge also has a prerequisite level of necessary soccer dollars and health/skill/IQ percentage. You can find information about the different tasks for each badge by clicking your badge in the top right hand corner of the game window. Below your badge is also an task-bar indicating how many tasks you have completed.

You can do this in your "Pad" by clicking the button for "Clothes & Stuff" (or by clicking your wardrobe).

Each player has their own personal scoreboard which can be viewed at the top of the screen in every area of the planet. The scoreboard not only shows a players skill, IQ, health and wealth, but the planet time and date, weather and temperature and highest keepy uppy score.

Simply log in to your "My Account" area (link at the foot of every page). Here you will find instructions on how to renew your membership if it has expired (or is about to), or on how to upgrade from our free Standard membership to Premium membership.

That depends. If you selected to "Pay Monthly" from the payment options when you signed up then yes, it will renew automatically once a month and your credit card will be charged accordingly. If you chose to pay for 12 months in advance then your membership will not renew automatically. If you try to log in after your membership has expired then you will be shown a message prompting you to renew your membership. To renew your membership, log in to your "My Account" area and follow the instructions.

To cancel your membership, please log in to your "My Account" area. The cancellation will take effect immediately.

The best way to do this is to cancel your monthly membership (see previous question) and then upgrade your membership by logging into your "My Account" area and following the upgrade instructions.

You can change your password by logging in to your "My Account" area and resetting your password.

If your username is deemed inappropriate we will change it for you and advise you of the new one we have chosen for you. All usernames are screened for inappropriate language, third party advertising or personal details.

Membership is £3.50 per month or £33.50 for 1 year. The equivalent in your currency will be calculated at checkout.

All payments are secure and processed using Worldpay. We do not store your credit card details here at Planet Soccer Live. For repeat payments, credit card information is stored by Worldpay.

Planet Soccer Live memberships are non-refundable.

Memberships are activated by the parent or guardian specified in the signup form. Standard memberships are activated immediately, Premium memberships are activated as soon as the payment is completed.

It is possible that there was a problem during the registration process. Please e-mail us immediately at info@planetsoccerlive.com including your e-mail address and the username you chose when registering. We will immediately activate your membership if payment has been received.
